Benzydamine HCI is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is used for its local analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anesthetic properties. It is commonly used to treat conditions such as:
- Sore throat: Benzydamine HCI is used to relieve the pain and inflammation associated with a sore throat.
- Mouth and throat infections: It is used to relieve the pain and inflammation caused by mouth and throat infections.
- Dental pain: Benzydamine HCI can be used to relieve the pain and inflammation caused by dental procedures such as tooth extractions or root canals.
- Musculoskeletal pain: It can be used topically to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis or sports injuries.
- Gynecological pain: Benzydamine HCI can also be used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with gynecological conditions such as vulvodynia or vaginitis.
- Radiation-induced mucositis: It is used to treat inflammation and pain in the mucous membranes caused by radiation therapy.
Dosage:
Adult & Children: Rinse or Gargle 15ml every 1.5 to 3 hours for more than 7 days, dilute with an equal volume of water if stinging occurs.
