Indication Dosage

Lower Respiratory Infection: 

  • Adults & Children 12 Yrs: 200 Mg Every 12 Hr For 10-14 Days; 
  • 2 Months-11 Yrs: 5 Mg/kg Every 12 Hr For 10-14 Days 

Otitis Media: 

  • Adults & Children 12 Yr: 200 Mg Every 12 Hr For 5 Days; 
  • 2 Months-11 Yr: 5 Mg/kg Every 12 Hr For 5 Days 

Upper Respiratory Infection, Pharyngitis, Tonsillitis: 

  • Adults & Children 12 Yrs: 100 Mg Every 12 Hr For 5-10 Days; 
  • 2 Months-11 Yrs: 5 Mg/kg Every 12 Hr For 5-10 Days 

Sinusitis: 

  • Adults & Children 12 Yr: 200 Mg Every 12 Hr For 10 Days; 
  • 2 Months-11 Yr: 5 Mg/kg Every 12 Hr For 10 Days. 

Skin Infection: 

  • Adults & Children 12 Yr: 400 Mg Every 12 Hr For 7-14 Days. 

Urinary Tract Infection: 

  • Adults & Children 12 Yr: 100 Mg Every 12 Hr For 7 Days

Content

  • Susp 40mg: Per 5 ml: Cefpodoxime 40mg (as Cefpodoxime Proxetil); Granules For Susp.
  • Susp 100mg: Per 5 ml: Cefpodoxime 100mg (as Cefpo-doximeproxetil); Granules For Susp.
  • Cap /Tab 100mg /20mg: Cefpodoxime 100mg /20mg.
