Septicaemia, Endocarditis, Urinary Tract Infection, Respiratory Tract, Skin And Soft Tissue Infections:
By IM Or IV Inj:
- Adults: 500 Mg-1 Gm 6-8 Hourly.
- Children 1 Month: 25-50 Mg/kg Daily In Three Or Four Divided Doses
Prophylaxis Against Bacterial Endocarditis:
- Adults: 1gm30 Min Before Procedure.
- Children: 25 Mg/kg 30 Min Before Procedure; Max Dose 1 Gm.
Bone And Joint Infections:
By IM Or IV Inj:
- Adults: 500-1000 Mg Every 6-8 Hourly.
- Children: 25-50 Mg/kg/day Divided Every 6-8 Hourly Doses; Max: 100 Mg/kg/day.
Septicaemia:
By IV Inj:
- Adults: 1-1.5 Gm Every 6 Hourly.
- Children: 100 Mg/kg/day Divided Every 6-8 Hourly Doses.
