Indication Dosage

Chloral hydrate is a medication that is used to help people fall asleep and stay asleep. It is commonly prescribed for short-term treatment of insomnia when other sleep aids are not effective or suitable. It can help you get the rest you need when you're having trouble sleeping.

Insomnia (short-term Use), Using Chloral Hydrate: 

  • Adult 15-30 Yrs: Alternatively 430-860 Mg Once Daily, Dose To Be Taken With Water Or Milk At Bedtime; Maximum 70 - Per Day; Maximum 2 G Per Day 
  • Children 1-12 Yrs: 30-50 Mg/kg, Max Chloral Hydrate 1 Gm Daily.

  • Liquid: Per 500mg, Triclofos Sodium (chloral Hydrate) 500mg.
