Indication Dosage

Cinitapride is a medication primarily used to treat gastrointestinal disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), functional dyspepsia, and delayed gastric emptying. It works by increasing the motility of the gastrointestinal tract and enhancing the release of acetylcholine. Cinitapride is typically prescribed for short-term use and is usually well-tolerated with few side effects. However, it is not recommended for use in patients with a history of heart disease or those taking certain medications such as antiarrhythmics or antipsychotics.
