Indication Dosage

Indication:

Doxorubicin is a medication used to treat various types of cancer. It works by stopping the growth of cancer cells in the body and is commonly used in the treatment of leukemia, breast cancer, and other cancers.

Dosage:

Acute Lymphoblastic and myeloblastic Leukaemia, Soft Tissue And Bone Sarcomas, Breast Carcinoma, Ovarian Carcinoma, Lymphomas Of Both Hodgkin And Non-Hodgkin Type, Small Cell Lung Cancer, Gastric Carcinoma, Bladder Carcinoma, Wilm'stumour, Neuroblastoma, Bronchogenic, Thyroid Carcinoma: 

By IV Inj: 

  • Adult: Monotherapy: 60-75 Mg/m2 every 21 Day. Combination Therapy: 40-60 Mg/m2 every 21-28 Days.

  • Inj 10mg /20mg /50mg: Per ml: Doxorubicin 2mg; 10mg(5 ml) & 20mg(10 ml); 50mg(25 ml); Vial.

  • Patients With Marked Myelosuppression, Stomatitis.

Lactation

  • Contraindicated. Discontinue Breast-feeding
