Indication Dosage

Etoposide is a medication used to treat certain types of cancer, including lung cancer, testicular cancer, and some forms of leukemia. It works by stopping the growth of cancer cells in the body.

Small Cell Carcinoma Of The Bronchus, The Lymphomas And Testicular Cancer: 

By IV Infusion: 

  • Adults: 60-120 Mg/m2 Slow IV Infusion Over 1/2-1 Hr Daily For 3-5 Days Followed By Treatment-free Interval Of 14 Days

  • Inj: Per ml: Etoposide 20mg; 5 ml, 2.5 ml, 10 ml Vial.
  • Cap 50mg /100mg: Etoposide 50mg /100mg.

Contra Indications

  • Severe Hepatic Dysfunction; Acute Infection.

Precautions

  • Severe Hepatic Dysfunction; Acute Infection.

Lactation

  • Contraindicated. Discontinue Breast-feeding.
