Indication Dosage

Ivermectin is a medication primarily indicated for the treatment of parasitic infections caused by various worms and mites in humans and animals. It is commonly used to combat conditions such as river blindness, strongyloidiasis, and scabies, offering an effective solution against these parasitic infestations.

Chronic Strongyloides Infection: 

  • Adult & Children: 15 Kg Or Above Body Weight: 200 Mcg/kg Daily For 2 Days 

Onchocerciasis: 

  • Adult & Children: 15 Kg Or Above Body Weight:150 Mcg/kg For 1 Dose, Retreatment Atintervals Of 6 To 12 Months, Depending On Symptoms, must Be Given Until The Adult Worms Die Out 

Scabies, In Combination With Topical Drugs, For The Treatment Of Hyperkeratotic Scabies That Does Not Respond To Topical Treatment Alone: 

  • Adult & Children: 15 Kg Or Above Body Weight: 200 Micrograms/kg For 1 Dose, Further Doses Of 200 Micrograms/kg May Be Required
