Other Anti-Bacterial

Indication Dosage

Pneumonia (when Other Antibacterials Cannot Be Used), Complicated Skin, And Soft-tissue Infections Caused By Gram-positive Bacteria, When Other Antibacterials Cannot Be Used: 

Oral: 

  • Adult & Children Above 12 Yrs: 600 Mg Every 12 Hours Usually For 10-14 Days; Maximum Duration Of Treatment 28 Days; 
  • Children Birth-11 Yr: 10 Mg/kg Every 8 Hr For 10-14 Days 

By IV Infusion: 

  • Adult: 600 Mg Every 12 Hours 

Lower Respiratory Infection: 

Oral: 

  • Adults & Children Above 12 Yr: 600 Mg Every 12 Hr For 10-14 Days 
  • Children Birth-11 Yr: 10 Mg/kg Orally Every 8 Hr.

Content

  • Tab 400mg /600mg: Linezolid 400mg /600mg. Inf Per ml: Linezolid 2mg, 100 ml (200mg), 200 ml (400mg), 300 ml (600mg).
  • Susp 100mg: Per 5 ml: Linezolid 100mg.
