Indication Dosage

Maprotiline is a medication that doctors may prescribe to help people who are feeling very sad or depressed. It is used to improve mood and alleviate symptoms of depression.

Depressive Illness: 

  • Adults: Initially 25-75 Mg Daily In One Dose (usually At Night) Or Three Divided Doses, Adjusting After 1-2 Weeks As Necessary; Max 150 Mg Daily. 
  • Elderly: Initially 30 Mg At Night Or 10 Mg Three Times Daily.
