Methylergometrine Maleate is a medication primarily used to prevent or treat excessive bleeding (postpartum hemorrhage) that can occur after childbirth. It helps to promote uterine contractions, which can help control and reduce bleeding in the postpartum period.
Management Of Puerperium, Postpartum Haemorrhage, Uterine Haemorrhage, Uterine Subinvolution, Uterine Atonia (adjunct):
By IV Inj:
- Adults: 0.5 Ml Iv Or 1 Ml Im After Delivery Of Placenta.
Oral:
- Adults: 1 Tab 3 times Daily For Three To Four Days In Puerperium.
- Children: Not Applicable.

- Tab 0.125mg: Methylergometrine Maleate 0.125mg.
- Inj: Per 1 ml Amp: Methylergometrine Maleate 0.2mg.
