Indication Dosage

Metoclopramide HCI is a medication that helps treat conditions related to the digestive system, such as nausea, vomiting, and heartburn. It works by increasing the movement of the stomach and intestines, which can help food and stomach acid move more easily through the digestive system.

Symptomatic Treatment Of Nausea And Vomiting Associated With Acute Migraine, Delayed Chemotherapy-induced Nausea And Vomiting, Radiotherapy-induced Nausea And Vomiting, Prevention Of Postoperative Nausea And Vomiting: 

Oral Or By IM Inj, Or By Slow IV Inj: 

  • Adult (body weight Up To 60 Kg): Up To 500 Mcg/kg Daily In 3 Divided Doses, When Administered By Slow IV Inj, To Be Given Over At Least 3 Min. 
  • Adult (body weight 60 Kg And Above): 10 Mg Up To 3 Times A Day, When Administered By Slow IV Inj, To Be Given Over At Least 3 Min. 
  • Children 1-18 Yr: 100-150 Mcg/kg Up To 3 Times Daily (for Delayed Chemotherapy-induced Nausea And Vomiting, Radiotherapy-induced Nausea, And Vomitingonly) 

Hiccup In Palliative Care: 

Oral Or By IM Inj, Or By Slow IV Inj: 

  • Adult: 10 Mg Every 6-8 Hours. 

Nausea And Vomiting In Palliative Care: 

Oral: 

  • Adult: 10 Mg 3 Times A Day. 

By Sc Infusion: 

  • Adult: 30-100 Mg/24 Hours.

  • Drops 5mg: Per 5 ml: Metoclopramide Hci Equivto 5mg Metoclopramide.
  • Inj 10mg: Per 2 ml Amp: Metoclopramide Hci 10mg.
  • Syp 5mg: Per 5 ml: Metoclopramide Hci Equiv To 5mg Metoclopramide.
