Indication Dosage

The Pneumococcal Vaccine is used to protect against a type of bacteria called Streptococcus pneumoniae, which can cause serious illnesses like pneumonia, meningitis, and blood infections. It is recommended for children and adults, especially those with weakened immune systems or certain medical conditions, to prevent these infections and their complications.

Active Immunisation Against Pneumococcal Disease:

  • Adults & Children Above 2 Yr: A Single Dose Of 0.5 Ml.

  • Inj: Purified Mixture Of Polysaccharides From 23 Pneumococcal Types, 25 Mcg In 0.5 ml; Pre-Filled Syringe.

  • Less Than 10 Days Prior To Or During Immunosuppressive Therapy, Patients With Hodgkin's Disease Who Have Received Extensive Chemotherapy And/or Nodal Irradiation, Pregnancy, Lactation.
