Selegiline is a medication that is used to help people with Parkinson's disease. It can improve their ability to move and reduce tremors, stiffness, and shakiness. It works by increasing the levels of certain chemicals in the brain that are important for controlling movement. Selegiline is often used in combination with other Parkinson's medications to provide better symptom control.
Parkinson's Disease, Used Alone Or As Adjunct To Cobeneldopaor Co-Careldopa To Reduce 'End Of Dose' Deterioration, Symptomatic Parkinsonism:
- Adult: Initially 5 Mg Once Daily For 2-4 Weeks, Then Increased If Tolerated To 10 Mg Daily, Dose To Be Taken In The Morning
