Indication Dosage

Silver sulfadiazine is a medication used to prevent or treat infections on the skin. It's especially helpful for burns and wounds to keep them from getting infected, which can aid in the healing process.

Prophylaxis And Treatment Of Infection In Burn Wounds: 

  • Adult & Children: Apply Daily, May Be Applied More Frequently If Very Exudative. Change Dressing Three Times A Week For Ulcers And Daily For Burns (consult Product Literature). 

For Conservative Management Of Finger-tip Injuries: 

  • Adult & Children: Apply Every 2-3 Days (consult Product Literature For Details). 

Adjunct To Prophylaxis Of Infection In Skin Graft Donor Sites And Extensive Abrasions: 

  • Adult: Apply In Layer 3-5 Mm Thick. Change Dressing Three Times A Week 

Adjunct To Short-term Treatment Of Infection In Pressure Sores: 

  • Adult: Apply Once Daily Or On Alternate Days 

As An Adjunct To Short-term Treatment Of Infection In Leg Ulcers: 

  • Adult: Apply Once Daily Or On Alternate Days, Not Recommended If Ulcer Is Very Exudative
