Nasal PreparationsIndication Dosage
Prophylaxis And Treatment Of Allergic Rhinitis:
- Adults: 55 Mcg (2 Sprays) Into Each Nostril Once Daily; Reduce To Minimum Effective Dose Once Control Achieved; 27.5 Mcg (1 Spray) Into Each Nostril Once Daily May Be Sufficient.
- Children 6-12 Yr: 27.5 Mcg (1 Spray) Into Each Nostril Once Daily, Increased If Necessary To 55 Mcg (2 Sprays) Into Each Nostril Daily; Reduce Once Control Achieved; 27.5 Mcg (1 Spray) Into Each Nostril Once Daily.
Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis, Perennial Rhinitis:
- Adults & Children 12 Yrs: 2 Sprays In Each Nostril Once Daily In The Morning; Maintenance: 1 Spray In Each Nostril Once Daily, Use Minimum Effective Dose. Max 4 Sprays In Each Nostril Daily.
- Children 4-11 Yrs: 1 Spray In Each Nostril Once Daily In The Morning; Max 2 Sprays In Each Nostril Daily.
Prophylaxis And Treatment Of Allergic Rhinitis:
- Adult & Children Above 12 Yrs: 100 Mcg (2 Spray) Daily, Increased If Necessary Up To 200 Mcg (4 Spray) Daily, Into Each Nostril; Reduced To 50 Mcg (1 Spray) Into Each Nostril Daily When Control Achieved
- Children 6-11 Years: 50 Mcg (1 Spray) Daily Into Each Nostril
Nasal Polyps:
- Adult: Initially 100 Mcg (2 Sprays) Daily Into Each Nostril, For 5-6 Weeks, Then Increased If Necessary To 100 Mcg (2 Sprays) Twice Daily Into Each Nostril, Consider Alternative Treatment If No Improvement After Further 5-6 Weeks, Reduce To The Lowest Effective Dose When Control Achieved
Nasal Congestion:
- Adults & Children: 2-4 Drops Every Two hours or As Needed.
