Sodium Stibogluconate is a medication primarily used for the treatment of visceral leishmaniasis, a tropical parasitic infection caused by protozoa of the Leishmania species. It is administered to patients to help combat and alleviate the symptoms associated with this serious and potentially life-threatening disease.
Visceral Leishmaniasis:
By IV Inj, Or By IM Inj:
- Adult: 20 Mg/kg Daily For 28 Days
Cutaneous Leishmaniasis:
By IV Inj, Or By IM Inj:
- Adult: 20 Mg/kg Daily For 20 Days
