Indication Dosage

Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate is a white crystalline powder that contains one molecule of water of crystallization per molecule of zinc sulfate. It is commonly used as a dietary supplement to prevent zinc deficiency, and as a fertilizer for crops to supply the necessary amount of zinc to the plants. Additionally, Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate is also used in the production of various chemicals, such as rayon, lithopone, and inks.

Prevention And Treatment Of Zinc Deficiency: 

  • Infants & Children: 1.35-2.70 Mg Zinc Sulphate Mono-hydrate/kg/day Divided In 1-3 Times Daily. Larger Doses May Be Required In Impaired Intestinal Absorption Or An Excessive Loss Of Zinc. 
  • Adults: 70-140mg Zinc Sulphate Mono-hydrate/dose (25-50 Mg Elemental Zinc/dose) 3 Times Daily.
