Indication Dosage

Orlistat is a medication that helps people lose weight by blocking the absorption of fat from the foods they eat. It is used to assist with weight management in individuals who are overweight or obese. Orlistat is typically prescribed along with a reduced-calorie diet to help people achieve and maintain a healthier body weight.

Adjunct To Diet In Obese Patients With Body Mass Index(BMI) 30 Kg/m2 And Greater, Or Bmi 28 Kg/m2 And Greater With Other Risk Factors: 

• Adults: 120 Mg Before, During or Up To One Hr After Each Main Meal. Continue Treatment After 12 weeks if 5% Of Initial Body Weight Is Reduced. If A Meal Is Missed Or Contains No Fat, The Dose Of Or List At Should Be Omitted. Advise Diet Rich In Fruit And Vegetables Containing Approx 30% Calories From Fat. Consider A Multivitamin Supplement 
• Children: Not Recommended.
