Ticagrelor is a medication used to prevent blood clots in people who have had a heart attack or severe chest pain (unstable angina). It helps to lower the risk of having another heart-related event or stroke by preventing platelets in the blood from sticking together and forming clots in the arteries.
For The Prevention Of Atherothrombotic In Combination With Aspirin Events In Patients With Acute Coronary Syndrome:
- Adult: Initially 180 Mg For 1 Dose, Then 90 Mg Twice Daily Usually For Up To 12 Months
In Patients Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention As an Alternative To Clopidogrel:
- Adult: 180 Mg, As A Single Dose
