Indication Dosage
Dihydroartemisinin and Piperaquine Phosphate is a medication primarily prescribed for the treatment of uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria infections. This combination therapy is highly effective in rapidly clearing the malaria parasite from the bloodstream, relieving symptoms such as fever, chills, and fatigue, while also preventing the development of drug-resistant strains of the parasite.
Prophylaxis And Treatment Of Malaria:
- Adult & Children Above 6 Months: 7-13 Kg: Half Tab, 13-24 Kg: 1 Tab, 24-36 Kg: 2 Tab, 36-75 Kg: 3 Tab, 75-100 Kg: 4 Tab, Dose To Be Given Once Daily, 3 Hrs Before Or 3 Hrs After Food, For 3 Days. Max 2 Courses In 12 Months Separated By At Least 2 Months.
