Indication Dosage
Domperidone is a medication used to treat certain digestive problems such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, and discomfort caused by delayed emptying of the stomach. It works by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain and gut, which increases the motility of the gastrointestinal tract and speeds up the movement of food through the stomach and intestines. Domperidone is usually prescribed for short-term use and should be taken under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
