Estradiol is a form of estrogen hormone, while dydrogesterone is a type of progesterone hormone. They are often prescribed together to balance the effects of estrogen and progesterone in the body.

Here are some indications of Estradiol + Dydrogesterone:

• Relief of menopausal symptoms: Estradiol and dydrogesterone can help alleviate hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, and other symptoms of menopause.
• Prevention of osteoporosis: Estrogen helps to maintain bone density, and when used in combination with dydrogesterone, it can reduce the risk of fractures in women with osteoporosis.
• Hormone replacement therapy (HRT): Estradiol and dydrogesterone are often prescribed as part of HRT to replace the hormones that the body stops producing during menopause.
• Treatment of endometriosis: Dydrogesterone can help reduce the symptoms of endometriosis, a condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus.
• Prevention of uterine cancer: Women who take estrogen alone have an increased risk of developing uterine cancer. Dydrogesterone helps to counteract this risk by balancing the effects of estrogen on the uterus.

Dosage:

• Estradiol 1mg/Dydrogesterone 10mg: This combination tablet may be taken continuously, one tablet daily.
• Estradiol 1mg/Dydrogesterone 5mg: This combination tablet may be taken continuously, one tablet daily.
• Estradiol 1mg/Dydrogesterone 20mg: This combination tablet may be taken for 14 days of a 28-day cycle, starting on day 1 of the menstrual cycle or on day 5 of the menstrual cycle. The tablet should be taken once daily, and it is recommended to take it at the same time each day.
