Hydroxyprogesterone Caproate + Estradiol Valerate is a combination medication that is used to treat certain conditions related to female reproductive health. Here are some of the indications of this medication:

• Amenorrhea: It is used to treat secondary amenorrhea (absence of menstrual periods for at least 6 months in women who have had normal menstrual cycles) and to induce withdrawal bleeding.
• Abnormal uterine bleeding: It is used to treat irregular or heavy menstrual bleeding due to hormonal imbalances.
• Endometriosis: It may be used as part of a treatment plan for endometriosis, a condition in which the tissue lining the uterus grows outside of it, causing pain and discomfort.
• Assisted reproductive technology (ART): It may be used in ART procedures to prepare the uterus for embryo transfer.
• Hormone replacement therapy (HRT): It may be used as a component of hormone replacement therapy for postmenopausal women who have a uterus, to reduce the risk of endometrial hyperplasia and carcinoma.

Dosage:

The usual dosage for Hydroxyprogesterone Caproate + Estradiol Valerate is one injection given every four weeks. The injection is usually administered into the muscle of the buttock by a healthcare provider.
