Indication Dosage
Ivabradine is a medication primarily indicated for the treatment of stable angina pectoris and chronic heart failure in adults. It is prescribed when beta-blockers are not suitable or well-tolerated, and it works by reducing the heart rate, thereby decreasing the workload on the heart and improving its overall efficiency. Ivabradine helps alleviate symptoms such as chest pain and shortness of breath, making it a valuable therapeutic option for individuals with these cardiovascular conditions.
