Indications:
This combination of Empagliflozin, Linagliptin, and Metformin is used to control blood sugar levels in adults with Type 2 Diabetes. It helps when diet and exercise alone are not enough.
- Empagliflozin removes extra sugar through urine.
- Linagliptin helps the body release more insulin.
- Metformin reduces sugar production in the liver and improves insulin use.
Dosage:
- Usually taken once or twice daily with food.
- A common starting dose is 10mg/5mg/500mg or 1000mg.
- The maximum daily dose is Empagliflozin 25 mg, Linagliptin 5 mg, and Metformin 2000 mg.
- The doctor may adjust the dose based on kidney function and how well the medicine is working.

Contra Indications
- Avoid use in patients with severe kidney disease, liver impairment, or heart failure. Not recommended for Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Contraindicated in patients with a history of serious hypersensitivity reactions to any of the components. Metformin should not be used in cases of metabolic acidosis or severe dehydration.
