Indication Dosage

Indication:

Clotrimazole, Vaginal is commonly used to treat yeast infections in the vaginal area. It helps relieve itching, burning, and discomfort caused by this type of infection.

Dosage:

Superficial Sites Of Infection In Vaginal And Vulval Candidiasis (dose For 1%or 2%cream): 

• Adults: Insert Intra-vaginally At Night; Cream 1%; for 7 Consecutive Nights, Cream 2%: For 3 Consecutive Nights, 

Vaginal Candidiasis (dose For 10%intravaginal Cream): 

• Adult: Single Dose, One Applicatorful To Be Inserted Into The Vagina At Night, Dose Can Be Repeated Once If Necessary 

Vaginal Candidiasis: 

• Adult: Tab 200 Mg For 3 Nights, Course Can Be Repeated Once If Necessary, Alternatively Tab 100 Mg For 6 Nights, Course Can Be Repeated Once If Necessary, Alternatively Tab 500 Mg For 1 Night, Dose Can Be Repeated Once If Necessary 

Recurrent Vulvovaginal Candidiasis: 

• Adult: Tab 500 Mg Every Week For 6 Months 
• Children: Below 12 Yrs, Not Recommended. Vaginal Candidiasis In Adolescents: Insert 5 Gm Of 10% Vaginal Cream, At Night As A Single Dose; May Be Repeated Once If Necessary.
