Indication Dosage
Dimenhydrinate is a medication commonly used to treat symptoms of motion sickness, such as nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. It is also sometimes used to treat vertigo and other balance disorders. Dimenhydrinate works by blocking histamine receptors in the brain, which helps to reduce the symptoms of motion sickness.
Vertigo, Nausea, Vomiting, Motion Sickness:
Oral:
- Adults: 50-100 Mg Two Or Three Times Daily.
- Children 1-6 Yrs: 12.5-25mg; 7-12 Yrs: 25-50 Mg; Two Or Three Times Daily.
By IV Or IM Inj:
- Adults: 50-100 Mg Every 4 Hr;
- Children Above 1 Yr: Im 1.25 Mg/kg 4 Times Daily, Max 300 Mg/day.

- Inj 50mg: Per ml: Dimenhydrinate 50mg; 1 ml Solution In Amp.
- Liqd 12.5mg: Per 4 ml: Dimenhydrinate 12.5mg.
- Tab 50mg: Dimenhydrinate 50mg.

Contra Indications
- Neonates and patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Dimenhydrinate or its components should not be treated with Dimenhydrinate.
