Indication Dosage

Oseltamivir is used to treat and prevent influenza, commonly known as the flu. It helps reduce the severity and duration of flu symptoms and can also be used to prevent the flu in certain situations, like during flu outbreaks or if you've been in close contact with someone who has the flu. It's a medicine that can make you feel better if you get the flu!

Prevention Of Influenza: 

• Adult & Children Above 13 Yrs: 75 Mg Once Daily For 10 Days For Post-exposure Prophylaxis; For Up To 6 Weeks During An Epidemic; 
• Children 1-11 Months: 3 Mg/kg Once Daily For 10 Days For Post-exposure Prophylaxis; 
• 1-12 Years (body-weight 10-15 Kg): 30 Mg Once daily for 10 Days For Post-exposure Prophylaxis; For Up To 6 Weeks During An Epidemic; 
• 1-12 Years (body-weight 15-23 Kg): 45 Mg Once Daily For 10 Days For Post-exposure Prophylaxis; For Up To 6 Weeks During An Epidemic; 
• 1-12 Years (body weight 23-40 Kg): 60 Mg Once Daily for 10 Days For Post-exposure Prophylaxis; For Up To 6 Weeks During An Epidemic; 
• 1-12 Years (body-weight 40 Kg And Above): 75 Mgonce Daily For 10 Days For Post-exposure Prophylaxis; For Up To 6 Weeks During An Epidemic 

Treatment Of Influenza: 

• Adult & Children Above 13 Yrs: 75 Mg Twice Daily For 5 Days 
• Children 1-11 Months: 3 Mg/kg; 1-12 Years (body-weight 10-15 Kg): 30 Mg; (body-weight 15-23 Kg): 45 Mg; (body-weight 23-40 Kg): 60 Mg; (body-weight 40 Kg And Above): 75 Mg. All Doses Twice Daily For 5 Days
