Indication Dosage
Norepinephrine is a medication primarily indicated for the treatment of critically low blood pressure (hypotension) and shock conditions in medical settings. It is administered intravenously to help raise blood pressure and improve blood flow to vital organs, such as the heart, brain, and kidneys, in situations where other measures have proven ineffective. Norepinephrine works by constricting blood vessels and increasing the heart's pumping strength, ultimately assisting in maintaining adequate blood pressure levels to support organ function and overall patient stability.
