Norethisterone Oenanthate is a medication prescribed by healthcare professionals for specific therapeutic purposes. It is commonly indicated for the following medical conditions and situations:

• Contraception: Norethisterone Oenanthate is used as a hormonal contraceptive to prevent pregnancy. It works by suppressing ovulation and altering cervical mucus, making it difficult for sperm to reach the egg.
• Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: This medication may be prescribed to manage irregular or heavy menstrual bleeding, including conditions like dysfunctional uterine bleeding, menorrhagia, and irregular periods.
• Endometriosis: Norethisterone Oenanthate can help alleviate the symptoms of endometriosis, a painful condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus.
• Amenorrhea: In some cases of primary and secondary amenorrhea (absence of menstruation), this medication may be used to induce a withdrawal bleed.
