Indication Dosage

Alprostadil and cyclodextrin a medications primarily indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult males. It works by improving blood flow to the penis, facilitating an erection. This medication is particularly useful for individuals who do not respond well to other ED treatments or those who cannot use oral medications. It offers a practical and effective solution to help restore sexual function and enhance the quality of life for men dealing with ED. 

Palliative Therapy To Temporarily Maintain The Patency Of The Ductus Arteriosus Until Corrective Or Palliative Surgery Can Be Performed In Neonates Who Have A Ductus-dependent Congenital Heart Defect: 

• Neonates: Continuous IV infusion Beginning With 50-100 Nanogram/kg/min; The Doses Reduced As Soon As Possible To The Minimum Necessary To Maintain Response. Lower Doses May Be Effective In Some Patients. The Dose May Be Increased To 400 Nanograms/kg/min. May Be Administered By Continuous Infusion Through An Umbilical Artery Catheter Placed At The Ductal Opening.
