Dinoprost is indicated for the prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage (excessive bleeding after childbirth).
Therapeutic Termination Of Pregnancy:
By Intra-amniotical:
- Adult (Female): 40 Mg By Slowly Injecting 8 Ml Of A Solution Containing 5 Mg/ml Into The Amniotic Sac. A Further Dose Of 10 To 40 Mg After 24 Hr May Be Given If The Membranes Are Still Intact.should Not Be Given Continuously For More Than 2 Days, For The Termination Of Pregnancy During The Sec Trimester, See Literature.
