Tibolone is a synthetic steroid medicine used for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). It mimics the activity of the female sex hormones estrogen and progesterone and the androgen testosterone in the body.
It is used to relieve the symptoms of estrogen deficiency (hot flushes, depression, decreased sex drive), in women who have gone through menopause. It is also used to prevent osteoporosis in women who have gone through menopause.
- Adult (Female): Daily One Tablet Minimum for 3 Months.
- Children: Not Applicable.
