Beta-Lactam Anti-bacterials, PenicillinsIndication Dosage
Mixed-infections Involving Beta-lactamase-producing Staphylococci:
Oral:
- Adults: 500 Mg (amoxicillin 250 Mg & Flucloxacillin 250 Mg) Every 6 Hr, Dose Doubled In Severe Infections.
- Children Above 10 Yr: Adult Dose; Below 10 Yr: Half Adult Dose, The Dose Doubled In Severe Cases.
By IV Or IM Inj:
- Adults: 500 Mg (amoxicillin 250 Mg & Flucloxacillin 250 Mg) Every 6 Hr, Dose Doubled In Severe Infections.
- Children 2-10 Yrs: Half Adult Dose, The Dose Doubled In Severe Cases.
