Indication Dosage

Mixed-infections Involving Beta-lactamase-producing Staphylococci: 

Oral: 

  • Adults: 500 Mg (amoxicillin 250 Mg & Flucloxacillin 250 Mg) Every 6 Hr, Dose Doubled In Severe Infections. 
  • Children Above 10 Yr: Adult Dose; Below 10 Yr: Half Adult Dose, The Dose Doubled In Severe Cases. 

By IV Or IM Inj: 

  • Adults: 500 Mg (amoxicillin 250 Mg & Flucloxacillin 250 Mg) Every 6 Hr, Dose Doubled In Severe Infections. 
  • Children 2-10 Yrs: Half Adult Dose, The Dose Doubled In Severe Cases.

  • Inj: 500mg: Amoxicillin 250mg, Flucloxacillin 250mg; Powder In Vial.
  • Susp: 250mg: Per 5 ml: Amoxicillin 125mg, Flucloxacillin125mg

Contra Indications

  • History Of Flucloxacillin Associated Jaundice/hepatic Dysfunction, Hypersensitivity To Penicillins, Cephalosporins Or Other Beta-lactams.
