Indication Dosage

Acute Infections Due To Sensitive Gram-positive And Gram-negative Bacteria, Upper & Lower Respiratory Infection, Urinary Tract Infection: 

  • Adult: 200-400 Mg Daily In 1-2 Divided Doses 
  • Children 6-11 Months: 75 Mg Daily 
  • 1-4 Years: 100 Mg Daily
  • 5-9 Years: 200 Mg Daily
  • 10-17 Years: 200-400 Mg Daily, Alternatively100-200 Mg Twice Daily 

Uncomplicated Gonorrhea, Otitis Media: 

  • Adults & Children 12 Yrs: 400 Mg Once Daily Or 200 Mg Every 12 Hr
  • 6 Months - 12 Yrs: 8 Mg/ Kg Once Daily Or 4 Mg/kg Every 12 Hr
