Clidinium and chlordiazepoxide are a medication combination used to treat stomach or intestinal ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach and relaxing the muscles in the intestines. The medication may also be used to relieve symptoms of anxiety. Clidinium and chlordiazepoxide should only be taken as prescribed by a doctor and should not be used in patients with glaucoma or a history of drug or alcohol abuse.
Gastrointestinal Manifestations Of Anxiety And Tension:
- Adults: 3-4 Dragees Daily Before Meals And Bedtime.
- Elderly And Frail Patients, Initially 1-2 Dragees Daily, Increased Gradually To The Most Effective Well-tolerated Dose.
- Children: Not Recommended.
