Indication Dosage

Dopamine Hydrochloride (Dopamine HCl) is a medication primarily indicated for the treatment of hemodynamic imbalances and circulatory insufficiency, such as those occurring in shock, trauma, congestive heart failure, and other critical conditions. It acts as a vasopressor, helping to improve blood flow and blood pressure by stimulating the heart and blood vessel function.

Cardiogenic Shock In Infarction Or Cardiac Surgery: 

By IV Infusion: 

  • Adult: Initially 2-5 Mcg/kg/min, Up To 20 Mcg/kg/minute,increased By 1-4 Mcg/kg/minute At 10-30 Minute intervals until Desired Result, Max 50 Mcg/kg/minute. 
  • Children 12-18 Yrs: Initially 5 Mcg/kg/minute Adjusted According To Response (max 20 Mcg/kg/minute).
