Peptic Ulcer & Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease

Indication Dosage

Treatment Of Benign Gastric And Duodenal Ulceration:

  • Adult: 40 Mg Once Daily For 4-8 Weeks, Dose To Be Taken At Night.

Prophylaxis Of Duodenal Ulcer Relapse:

  • Adult: 20 Mg Once Daily, Dose To Be Taken At Night.

Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome:

  • Initially 20 Mg Every 6 Hr, Adjust As Necessary; Max 800 Mg Daily.

Reflux Oesophagitis:

  • Adult: 20-40 Mg Twice Daily For 6-12 Weeks; Maintenance 20 Mg Twice Daily

  • Cap 20 mg /40 mg: Famotidine 20 mg/40 mg.
  • Susp: Per 5 ml: Famotidine 10 Mg.
  • Tab 10 mg /20 mg /40 mg: Famotidine 10 mg /20 mg /40 mg.
  • Tab Chewable/ Dispersible 10 mg /20 mg /40 mg: Famotidine 10 mg /20 mg

Pregnancy

Avoid Unless Potential Benefit Outweighs Risk.
