Anti-mycotics Systemic Use

Indication Dosage

Dermatophyte Infections Of The Skin, Scalp, Hair, And Nails Where Topical Therapy Has Failed Or Is Inappropriate: 

  • Adult: 500 Mg Once Daily Or In Divided Doses, Increased If Necessary To 1 G Daily, For Severe Infections; Reduce Dose According To Response 
  • Children Less Than 50 Kg Body Weight: 15-20 Mg/kg Once Daily Or In Divided Doses. 

Tineacapitis Caused By Trichophytontonsurans: 

  • Adult: 1 G Once Daily, Alternatively 1 G Daily In Divided Doses 
  • Children Less Than 50 Kg Body Weight: 15-20 Mg/kg Once Daily Or In Divided Doses.

Content

  • Cap /Tab 125mg /500mg: Griseofulvin 125mg /500mg.
  • Susp: Per 5 ml: Griseofulvin 125mg.
