Endocrine Hormone Therapy

Indication Dosage

Letrozole is a medication primarily prescribed to postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. It is used as an adjuvant treatment following surgery or radiation to lower the risk of cancer recurrence. Letrozole works by reducing the production of estrogen in the body, which can help slow down or inhibit the growth of cancer cells that rely on estrogen for their development.
