Indication Dosage

Exacerbation Of Osteoarthritis (short-term): 

  • Adult & Children Above 16 Yrs: 7.5 Mg Once Daily, Then Increased If Necessary Up To 15 Mg Once Daily 

Suppository: 

  • Adult: 15 Mg Once Daily; May Be Reduced To 7.5 Mg Once Daily. 
  • Elderly: 7.5 Mg Once Daily. 

Pain And Inflammation In Rheumatic Disease, Ankylosing Spondylitis: 

Oral: 

  • Adult & Children Above 16 Yrs: 15 Mg Once Daily, Then Reduced To 7.5 Mg Once Daily If Required 
  • Elderly: 7.5 Mg Once Daily 

Suppository: 

  • Adult: 15 Mg Once Daily; May Be Reduced To 7.5 Mg Once Daily. 
  • Elderly: 7.5 Mg Once Daily. 

Relief Of Pain And Inflammation In Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis And Other Musculoskeletal Disorders In Children Intolerant To Other NSAIDs: 

Oral: 

  • Children 12-17 Years (body-weight Up To 50 Kg): 7.5 Mg Once Daily; (body-weight 50 Kg And Above): 15 Mg Once Daily 

Suppository: 

  • Children 16 Years: 15 Mg Once Daily; May Be Reduced To 7.5 Mg Once Daily.

  • Tab /Cap 7.5mg /15mg: Meloxicam 7.5mg /15mg. Suppository 7.5mg /15mg: Meloxicam 7.5mg /15mg.

Caution Advised, Risk Cannot Be Ruled Out.

Contra Indications

  • Active Or Recurrent Gi Bleeding Or Ulceration, Cerebrovascular Disease, History Of Gi Bleeding Or Gi Perforation Related To Previous Nsaid Therapy, History Of Recurrent Gi Haemorrhage, Ischaemic Heart Disease, Heart Failure, Peripheral Arterial Disease, Moderate To Severe Renal Impairment, Aspirin/anti-inflammatory Induced Allergy.
