Indication Dosage

Indications:
Naproxen/Esomeprazole is used to treat osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and juvenile idiopathic arthritis by reducing pain, swelling, and discomfort. Esomeprazole helps protect the stomach from ulcers that may occur due to Naproxen use.

Dosage:
The usual adult dose is Naproxen 500mg + Esomeprazole 20mg twice daily, taken before meals with water. The tablet should be swallowed whole and not crushed or chewed. Dosage may vary based on the patient’s condition and doctor's advice.

Content

  • Tab 375/20mg: Delayed Release Naproxen 375 and Immediate Release Esomeprazole 20mg.
  • Tab 500/20mg: Delayed Release Naproxen 500 and Immediate Release Esomeprazole 20mg.

  • Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI), Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID)

Contra Indications

  • Naproxen/Esomeprazole is contraindicated in patients allergic to Naproxen, Esomeprazole, NSAIDs, or PPIs. It should be avoided in those with active stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe heart failure, or recent heart attack. Patients with severe liver or kidney disease and those with bleeding disorders or on blood thinners should not use it. Pregnant women in the third trimester should consult a doctor before use.
