Indication Dosage

"Ors" typically refers to Oral Rehydration Solution, a simple and effective way to treat dehydration, especially in cases of diarrhea or vomiting. To make an ORS solution at home, you can mix the following:

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter (4 cups) of clean water
  • 6 teaspoons of sugar
  • Half a level teaspoon of salt

Dehydration Associated With Diarrhoea And Acute Gi Disorders Resulting In Diarrhoea And Vomiting: 

Powder/liquid: The Whole Content Of The Sachet To Be Diluted In One Litre Of Water. 

  • Infants: One Litre Over 24 Hr; 
  • Children: One Litre Over 8 To 24 Hr. 
  • Adults: Drink Freely As Required (2-4litres During 24 Hr). 

Loss Of Electrolyte Associated With Acute Diarrhoea: 

Rice Powder: 

  • Adults & Children: 1 Yr: One Sachet Mixed With,200 Ml Water Immediately Before Use After, Each Stool Up To A Max Of 5 Sachet Per Day For 3-4 Days. 
  • Children 3 Month - 1 Yr: As Prescribed By Physician.
