TetracyclinesIndication Dosage
Susceptible Infections Including Chlamydia, Rickettsia, Mycoplasma, And Other Oxytetracycline Sensitive Infections:
Oral:
- Adults: 250-500 Mg Every 6 Hr.
- Children: 25-50 Mg/kg Every 6 Hr.
By IM Inj:
- Adults: 250 Mg Every 6 Hr Or 300 Mg Every 8 Hr Or Every 12 Hr.
- Children: 15-25 Mg/kg Body-wt Up To Max 250 Mg Daily Inj. The Dosage May Be Divided At 8 Or 12 Hourly Intervals.
Content
- Cap /Tab 250mg: Oxytetracycline 250mg.
- IM Inj 100mg: Per 2 ml Amp: Oxytetracycline 100mg.
- IV Inj 250mg: Per 3 ml Amp: Oxytetracycline 250mg.
Pregnancy
Contraindicated In Pregnancy.
