Anti-neoplastics

Indication Dosage

Paclitaxel is a medication primarily used to treat various types of cancer, including breast, lung, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers. It functions as a chemotherapy drug by inhibiting the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. Paclitaxel is often prescribed in combination with other anticancer medications and is effective in cases where cancer has metastasized or proven resistant to other treatments. It works by disrupting the normal division and growth of cancer cells, ultimately slowing down or preventing their proliferation.
