Phloroglucinol is a medication that belongs to the class of drugs called antispasmodics. It is commonly used to relieve abdominal pain and discomfort associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other gastrointestinal conditions. It works by relaxing the muscles in the intestines, which reduces spasms and cramping. Phloroglucinol can also be used as a diagnostic tool to detect certain medical conditions, such as urinary tract disorders and gallbladder disease.
Smooth Muscle Spasm, Biliary Spasm, Gi Motility Disorder, Urinary Spasm, Uterine Spasm:
Oral:
- Adults: 1 Tab Three Times Daily; Max 6 Tab Daily.
By Inj:
- Adults: 1-3 Amp Daily
- Children: Not Recommended.
