Drugs For Treatment Of Bone Diseases

Indication Dosage

Paget's Disease Of Bone: 

  • Adult: 30 Mg Daily For 2 Months, Course May Berepeated If Necessary After At Least 2 Months 

Treatment Of Postmenopausal Osteoporosis To Reduce Risk of Vertebral Or Hip Fractures: 

  • Adult (Female): 5 Mg Daily, Alternatively 35 Mg Onceweekly. 

Prevention Of Osteoporosis (including Corticosteroid-induced osteoporosis) In Postmenopausal Women: 

  • Adult (Female): 5 Mg Daily. 

Treatment Of Osteoporosis In Men At High Risk Of Fractures: 

  • Adult (Male): 35 Mg Once Weekly.

Content

  • Tab 5mg /150mg: Risedronate Sodium 5mg /150mg.
  • OW (Once Weekly) Tab 35mg: Risedronate Sodium 35mg.

  • Hypocalcaemia, Severe Renal Impairment.
