Drugs For Treatment Of Bone DiseasesIndication Dosage
Paget's Disease Of Bone:
- Adult: 30 Mg Daily For 2 Months, Course May Berepeated If Necessary After At Least 2 Months
Treatment Of Postmenopausal Osteoporosis To Reduce Risk of Vertebral Or Hip Fractures:
- Adult (Female): 5 Mg Daily, Alternatively 35 Mg Onceweekly.
Prevention Of Osteoporosis (including Corticosteroid-induced osteoporosis) In Postmenopausal Women:
- Adult (Female): 5 Mg Daily.
Treatment Of Osteoporosis In Men At High Risk Of Fractures:
- Adult (Male): 35 Mg Once Weekly.
