Indication:
Roxadustat is used for the treatment of anemia caused by chronic kidney disease (CKD) in both dialysis and non-dialysis patients. It works by stimulating the body’s natural production of erythropoietin (EPO) to increase red blood cell levels.
Dosage:
- Adults (Non-Dialysis Patients): 70–100 mg orally three times a week (adjusted based on hemoglobin levels).
- Adults (Dialysis Patients): 100–120 mg orally three times a week (dose adjustments as needed).
- Dosage varies based on weight, hemoglobin levels, and Medical Condition, so it should be used under a doctor's supervision.

Contra Indications
- Roxadustat is contraindicated in patients with uncontrolled high blood pressure, active blood clotting disorders, severe liver disease, or a history of serious allergic reactions to the drug. It should also be avoided in pregnant and breastfeeding women unless prescribed by a doctor.
